Scrolling the infamous Facebook timeline, I come across an intriguing quote. I love when this happens because depending on its ability to capture, it will take me on a research trip leading to more enlightenment or perspective. A friend posted this statement which I decided to use as the title of this article that made me ponder in thought. He implored those in the thread to figure out what is speaking to you.
I resonated heavily with this logic. How do individuals know which voice they are listening to? Do you think one can be guided by both, or one specifically in different situations? What is the disagreeing thought here? To find any truth, you must first look at its duality. What are the opinions of those who think contrary?
In many of my previous articles, I emphasize the need to hone in on your intuition. I talk about it so much! It is the most vital voice you can ever hear, in my opinion. Without it, you are lost in direction, your trajectory is mislead pointing you towards confusion and lack of insight. That is why it is imperative to train, develop, practice, and to sustain this thing we call intuition.
Psychology Today defines intuition as “essentially the brain on autopilot, performing the actions of processing information without the person’s conscious awareness that it is operating. It is non-conscious thinking.” It occurs when a driver travels for miles without a conscious thought about the activity of driving the car. Pedestrians walk down a street, get lost in thought, and find themselves at their destination without awareness of the processes that got them there.
Intuition is derived from our most truest spiritual core, originating first in the solar plexus or the area between your navel and diaphragm which is why we call it having a “gut instinct”. The celiac plexus is the anatomical term for the solar plexus region starting at the abdomen, near the celiac trunk, superior mesenteric artery, and renal arteries branch from the abdominal area. The are many options to expand or enhance this area like working with essential oil chakra blends during mediation and much more.
There is nothing too great of accomplishment for a man who knows the power of his word and follows his intuitive leads. In my opinion, God is the infinite supply and if there is a supply for every demand then you must do your part along with your Creator. You are what you think and what you speak releases the supply. We must keep our thoughts of pure intent. Ask and you shall receive! Listen for the answer.
As stated before, one can improve their intuition. With meditation (silencing everything in order to hear your own inner voice — intuition) and self work development will sharpen your intuition intensely. It is amazing what a little four part breathing technique and intention setting can do for one’s intuition. There are various methods that you can tailor to your specific interest and preference. Work with a spiritual coach or mentor for more direction.
Intuition also comes in various forms. From a random remark from a friend like what started this article in fact to something you read or see that day. many people call it the “hunch” or that “feeling” you get when you know something is inherently right. It comes in due time hence why time is relative to the person at hand. Looking at its metaphysical aspect, intuition is a spiritual faculty and does not explain its content; it simply just points the way and offers direction. Your actual work and said action must do the rest.
We can be also lead by trauma without knowing such. We can think we are walking in intuition because both can feel similar. Both tug at that inner gut of directional conscience. They are equally impactful and can change the angle of your fate and future.
Oftentimes, when we can live life walking around in anger and pettiness, biting at those who bite at you, matching low vibrations, and the like, we think life is alright. We think our actions are not extensive so they’ll be overlooked. You think this makes you look confident but it does the exact opposite. You are in fact, walking in trauma. You are being lead by your trauma. Projecting the things you don’t like within yourself; the insecurities. You are projecting this slim perspective of reality onto others: your trauma.
We must change the image of what we see when we look in the mirror because the problem lies with you and you only. We must go within. Listen to that voice. The God voice inside you.
The path towards intuition and inner knowing is blueprinted in your DNA. You have the power. Just tap in.
